A single-journey campaign proposal by @legefilms
Dallas/Fort Worth is one of Qantas's two principal US gateways — and one of only two flown by the A380. Los Angeles is the other. Everything else in the US network is a twin-aisle.
Qantas is the only carrier operating four-cabin A380 service between the United States and Australia. First, Business, Premium Economy and Economy on the largest passenger aircraft ever built — a genuine product differentiator that almost no traveller has seen from the inside.
At roughly seventeen hours it is one of the longest routes in the world. That length is the asset, not the obstacle. It is the only context in which the cabin can be shown as a place rather than a seat.
The timing is the booking window. North American demand for the Southern Hemisphere summer is decided in late autumn — not in January. Published in November, this campaign lands while the decision is still open.
The same structure applies to San Francisco–Sydney, or any single long-haul leg, if network priorities point elsewhere. One route, one film, one approval round — the origin is a variable, not a premise.
The largest passenger aircraft ever built, crossing the largest ocean on earth, to a city on the far side of everything. Seventeen hours treated as a destination in its own right.
One Reel that carries the argument, three that live natively in the feed, and a license that covers the organic and paid rollout for a full quarter.
All-in, fixed
$8,500
One route, one hero film, three ambient Reels, and a three-month commercial license across organic and paid. No staged fees, no per-asset add-ons.
Round-trip fare DFW–SYD, premium cabin, plus cabin access for filming. Everything else above is covered by the campaign fee.
T–3 weeks
Pre-production opens three weeks before departure. Script and storyboard go to Qantas for the single approval round.
Oct–Nov 2026
Filming on the southbound leg — late October or November 2026, on the daily A380 service.
Booking window
Hero Reel delivered and published inside the Southern Hemisphere summer booking window, while North American demand is still being decided.
Following weeks
Ambient Reels roll out across the following weeks, extending the campaign's shelf life well past the hero drop.
Available to travel on short notice.
Pre-production needs three weeks, not three months. If there is unspent budget in this quarter, this campaign can be shot, cut and published inside it.

A 30-minute walkthrough of the treatment, the shoot plan and the delivery timeline. One call is usually enough to green-light or pass.
